SWEDISH MASSAGE – This is the most common form of massage. This form of massage is gentle using light to medium pressure. Longer strokes and deep circular movements are used to help relax and energize you. Massage oil is used on the skin while the therapist performs different movements to warm up the muscle tissue and release tension. Kneading, vibration and tapping movements are used to break up adhesions or what are called “muscle knots.” This form of massage promotes circulation and lymph movement.
